The Vegetarian Butcher
FarmFarmers Henry & Alyson Gilman began with 4 hens and a rooster in 2006. As of June 2015, our barnyard boasts:
In 2002, Alyson met Henry who came with sons. Alyson doesn't eat meat. Henry & the boys love meat. The family's consumption of meat inspired us to learn more and try to feed our family from our land. Alyson has the not so common combination of being a vegetarian and a butcher. |
Collectivelocal collective is on a mission to: connect people with local food and the farmers who grow the food.
Three ways to join:
Eaters receive a share of the farm goods from our Producers and help support our local food system. Producers are farmers growing whole, healthy and beautiful foods who receive payment for the shares they provide to the Members. Apprentices learn the farming trade from a Producer and receive a share of farm goods for their time and energy. |
